Crowdcube (GB)

Crowdcube is a platform for crowd-equity (investment crowdfunding) founded in the UK, and one of the largest networks of investors around the world. Since 2011, Crowdcube has boasted a global portfolio of more than 220,000 registered investors, and has funded nearly 300 companies for a total of €160 million. Crowdcube makes it possible for anybody to invest alongside professional investors, business angels, venture capital funds, and public institutions. Since July 2014, when Crowdcube began operations in Spain, the platform channelled some €2.6 million to seventeen companies. Currently, it is in the process of registering with the National Securities Market Commission -CNMV, as a participatory financing platform. *
